Educational beat reporting

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issues new guidelines that ensure accountability, discipline and proper implementation of the National Education Police(NEP) 2020. CBSE has officially declared that X and XI will be treated as a two-year programmes. This means that class IX and X will be treated as a complete course for X board examination.

The XI and XII form a foundation for the XII boards. Any subject taken should be studied for 2 consecutive years. Board has also has emphasized the need for mandatory 75% attendance to be eligible for the board exams . Students must also register through the Pariksha Sangam portal and have a mandatory "APAAR ID". Failure to meet these requirements can result in being placed in the "Essential Repeat" category, requiring them to repeat the year or re-appear for assessments. 

Schools need prior approval before offering any new subject and must ensure they have the necessary teachers and facilities in place for all subjects. Schools must provide adequate infrastructure, including proper facilities for drinking water, separate and hygienic toilets for boys and girls, and ramps for wheelchair users, they must also follow guidelines related to the safety of children in schools.
